The G1 test is the general knowledge test for a new driver, it is also known as the G1 written test. This test is designed by the Ministry of Transportation. The test is present in hard as well as soft form across the whole Ontario. The Ontario G1 test resolute the primary and basic driving expertise including the turning, stopping of a vehicle and parking it. The Ontario G1 test is a collaboration of two parts. The first part is a written part which includes 20 multiple choice questions concerning the rules and regulations of road and the road signs. Your 16 answers out of 20 questions should be accurate for qualifying each section of your G1 test. These multiple choice questions are derived from the 2020 Ontario Drivers Handbook. For qualifying this test one must go through the handbook.
If you pass Ontario’s G1 test you’re capable of taking Ontario’s G2 test. Furthermore, you have to take an examination of your eye and pay 158.25$ for your written exam. The graduation driver’s license(GDL) begins when you’re 16. You have to hold your G1 license for 8 months or a year. If you retake the written test you have to pay $15.75, if you fail. You can use your G1 license for driving under the supervision of a G licensed driver with minimum of 4 years driving experience. And you can only drive on the freeway with a licensed driving instructor.
